Solar Panel Price Comparison — Sorted by $/Watt

Price-per-watt ($/W) is the standard way to compare solar panels fairly — it tells you exactly how much you’re paying per unit of electricity-generating capacity, regardless of panel size. Lower $/W = better value. This table pulls live Amazon prices every 4 hours so you always see current costs.

How to Use This Price Comparison Tool

  • Sort by $/Watt — The table is already sorted from lowest to highest price-per-watt. Lower is better value, but very cheap panels (<$0.30/W) may have shorter warranties or lower efficiency.
  • Use the filters (sidebar) to narrow by brand, wattage range, or connector type (MC4 is the universal standard; XT60 is for DIY/off-grid).
  • Panel types: Monocrystalline panels are more efficient (space-constrained installs); Polycrystalline cost less; thin-film is for specialty applications.
  • For full installation costs, see our complete installation cost guide — panels are only 15–20% of total installed cost.
